VISION

TRIBESTUDIOS is a reflection of Kurtis Malik Kilola, aka Ghost, the brand’s founder and creative director. Of Congolese origin, Ghost has always been imbued and inspired by African culture, a true source of inspiration that we try to highlight, from the extravagance of its colors to its noble and rare materials. Ghost grew up between Antwerp and Brussels, at the crossroads of Europe, from where other influences such as tailoring and Italian elegance were born.

The United States is another source of inspiration for Kurtis Malik Kilola, who thanks to several trips across the Atlantic has been deeply influenced by Afro-American culture, hip-hop and streetwear, all inspirations that can be found in TRIBESTUDIOS.

Samy Alhalabi, the brand’s head designer, recently added a more neo-oriental touch to TRIBE’s vision. Originally from Syria and Morocco on his parents’ side, this 18-year-old designer supports this association of
different tribes, a subtle blend of our influences, without losing the harmony that is this brand’s signature
